MoPH Finalizes Plan and Design for 100-Bed Specialized Teaching Hospital with Kazakhstan Support

Kabul — A meeting was held by the Planning and Programming Directorate under the General Directorate of Planning and Policy of the MoPH to finalize the concept, plan, design, and proposal for a 100-bed specialization and sub-specialization teaching hospital to be supported by the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The meeting was attended by all members of the relevant technical committee and focused on the final review and approval of the hospital’s concept, plan, and design. During the session, the project’s technical, administrative, and service aspects were comprehensively assessed.

Comprehensive discussions covered the hospital’s capacity, specialization and sub-specialization departments, training facilities, construction standards, and service quality, with participants sharing views to further refine the plan and ensure it meets practical and standard requirements.

The hospital’s concept, plan, design, and proposal were also formally approved by the committee members, who decided that necessary revisions should be made in certain areas.

The hospital is expected to strengthen specialization and sub-specialization healthcare services, while also contributing to significant progress in medical and professional training.
