Khair Khana 102-Bed Hospital Kabul
The Khairkhana 102-bed hospital, operated by Afghanistan’s Ministry of Public Health, is located in the Khair Khana area of Kabul and provides a wide range of specialised healthcare services to the public.
The hospital offers both inpatient (IPD) and outpatient (OPD) services, including maternity care, paediatrics, general medicine, surgery, treatment for child malnutrition, ENT, vaccination, ultrasound diagnostics and mental health care.
The Khair Khana hospital has 130 functional beds and is equipped with standard medical facilities. According to the Ministry of Public Health, more than 5,000 surgical operations were carried out at the hospital this year, while over 171,000 patients received outpatient care and more than 20,000 were treated through inpatient services.
The hospital is considered a key medical facility for Kabul residents, providing round-the-clock healthcare services across its departments.
