Modern Intensive Care Unit Inaugurated at Abu Ali Sina Balkhi Regional Hospital

A modern Intensive Care Unit (ICU) equipped with state-of-the-art medical equipment has been inaugurated at Abu Ali Sina Balkhi Regional Hospital by the Balkh Provincial Public Health Directorate.

This department was established through the efforts of the Ministry of Public Health and with the financial support of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), at a cost of 1.6 million US dollars. Its operation will provide essential facilities for the treatment of emergency and critically ill patients, thereby contributing to the improvement of healthcare quality.

Notably, the department is equipped with advanced and modern medical technology. It comprises 15 private rooms, each containing a single bed and fitted with modern monitoring systems and medical equipment.
