Minister of Public Health Meets with Chinese Ambassador to discuss cooperation in the health sector
His Highness, the Minister of Public Health of Afghanistan, Mawlawi Noor Jalal Jalali, met with the Chinese Ambassador, Zhao Xing, to discuss cooperation in the health sector.
His Excellency Jalali emphasized the strong relationship between Afghanistan and China. He requested China’s support in repairing Mirwais Regional Hospital in Kandahar, improving healthcare services, capacity building for Afghan healthcare workers in traditional medicine and radiology, providing medical equipment, medicines, and vaccines for infectious diseases.
The Chinese ambassador reaffirmed his country’s commitment to supporting Afghanistan and promised to help with rebuilding the hospital, training healthcare workers, improving traditional medicine, and supplying medical equipment.
