Minister of Public Health holds a meeting with the head of UNFPA for Afghanistan

In a significant meeting held in his official office, the Minister of Public Health of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, Mawlawi Noor Jalal Jalali, engaged with Mr. Kwabena Asante, the head of UNFPA for Afghanistan, to discuss critical initiatives aimed at enhancing healthcare accessibility in the country’s remote regions.

The agenda focused on several key areas: the establishment of new healthcare facilities, the expansion of services offered at existing health centers, and the improvement of the quality and effectiveness of mobile health teams. Additionally, discussions addressed the capacity-building efforts for healthcare personnel and the enhancement of specialized health services tailored for mothers and children.

His Excellency Mawlawi Noor Jalal Jalali emphasized the urgency of constructing additional healthcare facilities and expanding service offerings to ensure that healthcare services reach residents in isolated areas.
