Officials of the Panjshir Provincial Public Health Directorate organized a Facility-Based Newborn Care (FBNC) training program for health facility staff in the province, with the aim of strengthening staff capacity and improving the quality of healthcare services.

Participants received training on standard neonatal care, effective healthcare practices, and the development of practical skills. The main goal of the program is to strengthen the capacity of health workers to deliver better and more effective care for newborns in health facilities.

Officials of the Panjshir Provincial Public Health Directorate also stressed that such training programs play an important role in improving the quality of healthcare services and ensuring a better response to the health needs of the population.
