Educational Seminar on Drug Harm Prevention Held for Students in Ghazni

Officials of the 50-bed drug rehabilitation hospital in Ghazni Province held an educational seminar on the prevention of drug-related harms for students of the Omar Health Sciences Institute.

The educational seminar, aimed at raising awareness about the harmful effects of drugs and providing accurate information to future healthcare professionals, was attended by about 250 students.

At the seminar, the social, economic, psychological, and health impacts of drug use were discussed, along with its individual and social consequences.

In addition, key scientific information was shared on drug prevention, identifying addicts, and referring them to rehabilitation centers.
