The Deputy Minister of Finance and Administration of the Ministry of Public Health of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, Mullah Bakht-ur-Rahman Sharafat, held a meeting with representatives from the Global Fund and UNDP in his office.

The discussions focused on the procurement and installation of oxygen plants, as well as the provision of essential intensive care unit (ICU) equipment in Balkh, Logar, and Kandahar provinces.

During the meeting, the deputy minister emphasized the critical importance of equipping these healthcare facilities with advanced medical infrastructure. He also urged the relevant authorities to expedite the implementation process while maintaining the highest standards of efficiency and quality.

The representatives of the Global Fund and UNDP reaffirmed their commitment to supporting these efforts by facilitating the timely provision of necessary medical equipment and ensuring the swift execution of related projects.
