51 Addiction Patients Receive Free Treatment at Balkh Provincial Addiction Treatment Hospital

Over the past month, 51 patients received free treatment at the 100-bed Addiction Treatment Hospital under the Balkh Provincial Public Health Directorate and were discharged to return home.

The hospital head, Dr. Niaz Mohammad Joya, said that treating patients with addiction is considered a core responsibility, which they will fulfill with full commitment. He added that treatment at the hospital lasts between 45 to 90 days, during which healthcare staff provide patients with various medical services.
