Public Health Minister Mawlawi Noor Jalal Jalali Meets Pharmaceutical Wholesalers to Address Medicine Pricing and Supply Issues

In his official office, Mawlawi Noor Jalal Jalali, Minister of Public Health of the IEA, met with officials of the Pharmaceutical Wholesalers’ Association to discuss their concerns.

At the meeting, attended by Mawlawi Hamdullah Zahid, Deputy Minister for Food and Drugs of the MoPH, and other officials, discussions focused on controlling medicine prices, enforcing anti-smuggling laws, preventing hoarding, and ensuring the availability of quality medicines at reasonable prices.

His Excellency Jalali described the provision of quality medicines at reasonable prices to the public as a shared responsibility and stated that everyone must fulfill their joint duty in this regard.

Mawlawi Hamdullah Zahid said they are working to meet the needs of both the association and the public and will continue their efforts in this regard.
