These medicines and food items were confiscated over the past year by the Paktia Public Health Directorate’s inspection and monitoring team from the provincial center and districts, and were destroyed in the presence of relevant officials.

Officials of the Paktia Public Health Directorate said that monitoring of pharmacies, health facilities, and food shops will continue on a regular basis, and that violators will be dealt with in line with health regulations and laws.
