The foundation stone of a healthcare facility was ceremoniously laid in the Markikhilo area of Khogyani district, Nangarhar province

For the project, three jeribs of land were donated by local residents. Once operational, the facility will provide comprehensive healthcare services to this remote community, significantly mitigating prevalent health challenges.

The Director of Public Health for Nangarhar, Mawlawi Aminullah Sharif, assured the community that services will commence immediately upon completion, and that the center’s staffing and operational framework will be formally submitted to the Ministry of Public Health for approval.
