Construction of a Basic Health Center Begins in Laghman Province at a Cost of $165,000
Construction of a basic health center has commenced in the Karanj area of Mihtarlam, the capital of Laghman Province, with financial support from the International Organization for Migration (IOM).
The 15-room health center is scheduled to be constructed to a high standard and completed within five months.
Officials from the Laghman Provincial Public Health Directorate said that once completed, the center will improve local residents’ access to healthcare services.
