Minister of Public Health Travels to Belarus to Strengthen Health Cooperation

The Minister of Public Health of the IEA, H.E. Mawlawi Noor Jalal Jalali, accompanied by a delegation, has travelled to Belarus to strengthen health cooperation, visit healthcare institutions in the country, and exchange experiences between the two sides.

Officials from the Ministry of Health of Belarus, led by Deputy Minister Barys Andrysiuk, welcomed the Afghan Minister of Public Health and his accompanying delegation, describing the visit as an important step towards expanding bilateral cooperation.

During the visit, the Minister of Public Health is scheduled to meet with the leadership of the Ministry of Health of Belarus and visit the Belarusian State Medical University, a state pharmaceutical company, the Republican Scientific and Practical Center of Cardiology, the Republican Scientific and Practical Center for Oncology and Medical Radiology, the Republican Center for Hygiene, Epidemiology and Public Health, and the City Clinical Emergency Hospital.

The visit will also provide an opportunity for the two sides to exchange experiences in healthcare services, medical education, pharmaceutical production, and specialized healthcare, as well as discuss opportunities to further expand cooperation in these areas.
