74 Pharmaceutical Wholesalers Inspected in Kabul
During the month of Sunbula, officials from the Ministry of Public Health’s Inspection and Monitoring Directorate inspected 74 pharmaceutical wholesalers in various parts of Kabul city using standardized checklists.
As a result of these inspections, 27 wholesalers were closed for failing to have official purchase documents for their medicines, and one unauthorized warehouse was also closed.
In addition, 35 suspected medicines were quarantined, 93 medicines lacking legal documentation were seized, and 10 samples of suspected medicines were sent to the laboratory for quality testing.
