MoPH Introduces 88 Specialist Trainers to Strengthen the Residency Program

The Ministry of Public Health of the IEA introduced 88 young specialists as trainers to central and provincial specialized hospitals after completing all stages of the selection process, aiming to strengthen the Residency Program.

The event was attended by Qari Abdul Wali Siddiqi, Deputy Minister for Finance and Administrative; Sheikh Mohammad Tahir Halim, Chief of Staff; Dr. Nisar Ahmad Niazi, General Director of Specialty Program; Dr. Sharafat Zaman, Director of Communications and Public Relations; and other officials and specialist trainers.

Qari Abdul Wali Siddiqi, congratulated the successful trainers and reminded them to carry out their responsibilities diligently, so they stand self-reliant and contribute to the well-being of our citizens.

Dr. Nisar Ahmad Niazi, stated that the examination was conducted with full transparency in collaboration with the National Examination Authority, calling it an unprecedented and commendable step as a large number of young specialists are being recruited into the system as trainers.

Notably, the General Directorate of Specialty Program of the MoPH, in cooperation with the National Examination Authority, previously conducted written and practical examinations for specialist doctors to fill vacant trainer positions in specialized hospitals across the country. Following the announcement of the results, 88 specialist trainers were declared successful and officially assigned to their respective posts, while examinations for the remaining vacancies will be conducted in the near future.
