MoPH Holds Online Meeting with Provincial Health Officials to Strengthen Coordination and Improve Service Delivery

The Director of Provincial Health Coordination of the Ministry of Public Health, Dr. Fazal Elahi Alizai, held an online meeting with public health officials from Kunduz, Takhar, Sar-e-Pol, Jawzjan, Samangan, Balkh, Faryab, Badakhshan, and Baghlan provinces.

The meeting aimed to strengthen coordination between central and provincial health offices, assess existing challenges, and ensure the effective and timely implementation of health programs at the provincial level.

During the meeting, participants discussed appointing a focal point for timely and effective implementation, sharing PHC decisions between provincial directorates and the central level, adhering to the administrative chain of command, and responding promptly to official correspondence.

Public health officials from the mentioned provinces also emphasized strengthening cooperation and coordination among institutions, noting that this would play an important role in improving health services and ensuring the swift resolution of challenges.
