MoPH Conducts High-Level Review to Strengthen Performance and Healthcare Delivery Across Central Departments

KABUL – The Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) convened a review session to evaluate the recent performance and outcomes of its central directorates and departments.

Chaired by Deputy Minister for Health Service, H.E. Mawlawi Abdul Wali Haqqani, the meeting gathered senior officials, highlighting the Ministry’s commitment to performance-based governance.

Deputy Minister Haqqani underscored the importance of regular assessments, stating that sustained improvements in health services rely on transparent evaluation and adaptive planning.

Directors presented reports outlining progress in primary healthcare, immunization, facility upgrades, and public awareness initiatives, demonstrating alignment with national health objectives.

In response, Deputy Minister Haqqani affirmed the leadership’s determination to overcome institutional challenges, assuring full support in resolving administrative and operational barriers.

He also issued directives to strengthen inter-departmental coordination, encouraging officials to build synergy and improve the reach and quality of healthcare delivery nationwide.
