Mawlawi Noor Jalal Jalali Launches 64 Million AFN Hospital Project in Samangan
Samangan, Afghanistan — The Minister of Public Health of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, Mawlawi Noor Jalal Jalali, on an official visit to Samangan Province, laid the foundation stone for the construction of the Hazrat Sultan District General Hospital, a project valued at 64 million Afghanis
It was attended by the Minister of Public Health and his accompanying delegation, the Governor of Samangan, Mullah Mohammad Shoaib Resalat, along with a number of other provincial officials and local residents
The Minister of Public Health described the hospital as a key step toward expanding district-level healthcare, addressing public needs, and improving service quality. He said that, under the Islamic Emirate’s internal budget, procurement for 56 of the planned 318 district hospitals has been completed, and construction of an additional 100 is expected to start during the current year 1405.
The Minister added that the hospitals will include departments such as general surgery, internal medicine, obstetrics and gynecology, and pediatrics. He said their completion will ease pressure on provincial hospitals and improve access to quality healthcare at the district level.
The Governor of Samangan also said that all officials are working under a unified system, adding that the country is a shared home for everyone and should be served through collective efforts to provide better services for citizens.
