Mawlawi Hamdullah Zahid Meets Uzbek Delegation to Advance Pharmaceutical Cooperation

Mawlawi Hamdullah Zahid, Deputy Minister of the Afghanistan Food and Drug Authority of the Ministry of Public Health, met in his office with Uzbekistan’s Deputy Ambassador, Mr. Jamshid Badalov, and a delegation from Uzbek pharmaceutical companies.

The meeting discussed implementing a signed agreement on pharmaceutical exports from Uzbekistan to Afghanistan, along with Afghanistan’s production capacity and the need to import certain medicines.

They also discussed facilitating the registration process for foreign companies and exploring investment opportunities in the medicines and health products sector, and emphasized strengthening bilateral cooperation and expanding trade relations.
