Afghanistan’s Deputy Minister of Public Health for Healthcare Services, Mawlawi Abdul Wali Haqqani, visited the National and Specialised Hospital for Infectious Diseases with a delegation to assess healthcare provision.

During the visit, he instructed medical staff to step up efforts to resolve patients’ concerns and improve the quality of services.

He said all healthcare workers must fulfil their moral and professional duties responsibly and carry out their work with honesty.

The deputy minister also met patients and visitors, listening to their complaints and assessing satisfaction levels to help improve services.
