The Deputy Minister of Healthcare Services Delivery at the Ministry of Public Health under the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, Mawlawi Abdul Wali Haqqani, accompanied by his delegation, undertook an official visit to the Provincial Hospital in Kapisa Province to evaluate its healthcare services.

During the visit, H.E. Haqqani meticulously inspected various departments of the hospital, ensuring a detailed assessment of the operational efficiency and quality of care. He also convened a meeting with the hospital’s leadership and staff to discuss pressing matters.

In the meeting, the hospital staff articulated their concerns and submitted recommendations, including adjustments to salaries, the introduction of capacity-building training initiatives, and the expansion of the hospital’s workforce. They emphasized the urgency of addressing these challenges to enhance service delivery.

The Deputy Minister lauded the unwavering dedication of the hospital staff in delivering healthcare services under challenging circumstances. He further reassured them of the Ministry’s commitment to promptly and thoroughly addressing their proposals and concerns.
