Kunduz, Afghanistan – As part of a nationwide drive to enhance healthcare standards and institutional transparency, Dr. Karimullah Halimi, Director of Monitoring at the Ministry of Public Health (MoPH), spearheaded a high-level inspection of select public and private hospitals in Kunduz province.

The mission aimed to evaluate service delivery quality across both public and private sectors, ensuring alignment with national healthcare benchmarks and reinforcing accountability. Dr. Halimi, accompanied by a specialized technical team, conducted comprehensive audits of key departments. Deficiencies and operational bottlenecks were flagged and immediately relayed to relevant stakeholders for prompt resolution.
