Installation of solar power systems begins at 8 health facilities in ghor province
The initiative, valued at usd 406,000, has been launched in coordination and collaboration with the ghor provincial public health directorate, with financial support from the united nations development programme (undp). The solar power systems will have a generation capacity of 30 to 70 kilowatts per health facility, depending on the specific power needs of each facility.
Officials from the ghor provincial public health directorate welcomed the project, highlighting the undp office’s support as an important contribution to strengthening health facilities and ensuring access to sustainable energy. They also emphasized the importance of continued cooperation and support from partner organizations.
