During the ceremony, the foundation stone was also laid for the factory’s second phase, which will be built at a cost of USD 15 million for the production of injectable medicines and is expected to have an annual production capacity of 30 million ampoules and 25 million vials.

Similarly, Deputy Minister of Food and Drugs Mawlawi Hamdullah Zahid emphasized the importance of production, industry, and technology in the country’s development and economic progress. He noted that manufacturing facilities are important not only for investment but also for serving the public, creating job opportunities, and contributing to the country’s economic growth.
