Minister of Public Health Visits Uruzgan Provincial Hospital and Reviews Healthcare Services

During his visit to Uruzgan Province, the Minister of Public Health of the IEA, Mawlawi Noor Jalal Jalali, and his accompanying delegation visited the provincial hospital.

The visit was also attended by Uruzgan Deputy Governor Mullah Barigul Talib and a number of other officials. The Minister inspected various departments of the provincial hospital, as well as the ongoing construction of the new Intensive Care Unit (ICU), and emphasized the provision of quality healthcare services and the implementation of construction work in accordance with established standards.

The Minister also instructed health workers to further improve the quality of healthcare services and give due attention to addressing patients’ concerns, with the aim of meeting the healthcare needs of the people of Uruzgan Province and resolving their health related challenges.
