Malnutrition Treatment Units for Children Were Constructed and Commissioned in Helmand's Garmsir and Washir Districts at a Cost of AFN 3.7 million.

The units were established through the efforts of the Helmand Provincial Public Health Directorate, with financial support from UNICEF, at the Garmsir District Hospital and the Maban Pushti Health Center in Washir District. Their purpose is to provide standardized treatment and essential healthcare services for children suffering from malnutrition.
