Ministry of Public Health Signs $641,808 Contract with OPHA Organization to Strengthen and Expand Health Services in Nangarhar and Laghman Provinces.

The contract was signed for a period of one year, under which essential health services will be provided to residents of Nangarhar and Laghman provinces through 9 Basic Health Centers.

The agreement was signed with the aim of improving the quality of healthcare services, increasing access, and reducing public health challenges. With its implementation, 113,600 people in Nangarhar and Laghman provinces will benefit from basic health services, and 90 individuals will also be provided employment opportunities in the health sector.

Representatives of the Organization for People's Health in Action (OPHA) also assured that the project will be implemented within one year in full compliance with all established standards and will place special emphasis on meeting the healthcare needs of the people.
