MoPH Minister Meets Baghlan Governor; Technical Team Assigned to Assess Andarab District Hospital

In his official office, the Minister of Public Health of the IEA, Mawlawi Noor Jalal Jalali, met with the Governor of Baghlan, Mawlawi Abdullah Mukhtar.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed the province’s health situation, the quality of healthcare services, and ways to strengthen its health infrastructure.

The Governor of Baghlan called for the resumption and completion of the remaining work on the Andarab District Hospital, stating that its completion would significantly improve access to healthcare services for residents of Andarab and surrounding areas.

Furthermore, the Minister of Public Health assigned a technical team to assess the Andarab District Hospital project and, following the assessment, take the necessary steps to resume the remaining work on the hospital.

Meanwhile, the Minister stated that construction of general hospitals in several districts of the province will begin in the near future, which will help ensure access to quality and specialized healthcare services for patients.
