MoPH EPR Team Delivers Emergency Medicines to Flood-Affected Nuristan
The Ministry of Public Health’s Emergency Preparedness and Response (EPR) team provided 16 types of medicines to the Nuristan Provincial Public Health Directorate to support the effective treatment of patients injured in the recent floods in the province.
The committee officials stated that, under the specific direction of the Ministry of Public Health leadership, the medicines were provided to the Nuristan Provincial Public Health Directorate to ensure effective treatment for patients injured in the recent floods and prevent medicine shortages from disrupting or delaying the delivery of healthcare services.
The delegation of the Emergency Preparedness and Response Committee will also assess healthcare services in Nuristan Province to identify needs in a timely manner and take the necessary measures to address them.
