MoPH Convenes Online Meeting to Strengthen Control of Infectious Diseases
The Deputy Minister for Health Services, Mawlawi Abdul Wali Haqqani, chaired an online meeting focused on strengthening efforts to control and prevent infectious diseases.
Organized by the General Directorate of Disease Control and Prevention, the meeting brought together 12 provincial health directors to discuss strategies and coordination for managing communicable diseases.
Deputy Minister Haqqani emphasized the need for stronger collaboration and recommended that provincial technical committees hold regular meetings to ensure effective monitoring and response.
He also addressed the concerns raised by the provincial directors, pledged to resolve existing challenges, and called for increased public awareness and timely submission of quarterly reports to the Ministry.
