Ministry of Public Health Signs Contract to Strengthen Diabetes Care Capacity at Herat Regional Hospital
The Ministry of Public Health has signed a contract worth $23,438 with the Welfare Organization for Poverty Reduction and Advocacy (WOPRA) to strengthen the capacity of Herat Regional Hospital in the management and control of diabetes.
The contract was signed for one year. Under this contract, the capacity of Herat Regional Hospital in the prevention and management of diabetes will be strengthened, and five people will also be provided with employment opportunities in the healthcare sector.
Representatives of the WOPRA also expressed their commitment, stating that the project will be implemented within one year in accordance with all set standards, with particular focus on strengthening the capacity of Herat Regional Hospital.
