Ministry of Public Health Signs $492,328 Agreement with Afghan Youth Services Organization (AYSO)  to Strengthen Health Services in Ghor and Badghis

The agreement was signed for over one year and will provide nutrition-related health services to the residents of Ghor and Badghis provinces through Basic Health Centers (BHCs).

This project will create employment opportunities for approximately 49 people across various health-related fields.

Officials from the Ministry of Public Health said the agreement was signed to improve the quality of health services, increase access, and reduce public health issues. Once implemented, it will provide nutrition-related services to 440,000 residents of Ghor and Badghis and create healthcare job opportunities for 49 people.

Representatives of AYSO expressed confidence that the project will be successfully implemented over the planned period, meeting all standards and prioritizing the health needs of the community.

The Ministry of Public Health reaffirmed its commitment to working closely with national and international partners to strengthen healthcare services and improve health facilities across all provinces of the country.
