The Ministry of Public Health of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan laid the cornerstone for a new administrative building at the 200-bed provincial hospital in Jawzjan Province, an endeavor supported by an investment of 29 million Afghanis. This significant milestone was marked by a formal ceremony.

In attendance were Mawlawi Mohammad Ishaq Sahibzada, the Deputy Minister for Financial and Administrative Affairs, and Qari Zabihullah Hussaini, the Director of Public Health for Jawzjan, along with a range of officials, scholars, and community leaders.

What was highlighted by Deputy Minister Sahibzada is that the new building, financed through the Ministry’s budget, will be constructed over three floors and will incorporate all requisite facilities. He underscored the critical importance of this development, asserting that it is set to bring about a substantial improvement in both the administrative functions and the healthcare services provided at the provincial hospital.
