Minister of Public Health Mawlawi Noor Jalal Jalali Leads High-Level Meeting in Herat to Enhance Healthcare Quality and Collaboration

During his official visit to Herat province, the Minister of Public Health of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, Mawlawi Noor Jalal Jalali, convened a high-level joint meeting with the Provincial Director of Public Health, healthcare professionals, representatives of international organizations, and officials from the implementing agency.
The session featured remarks from Mawlawi Mohammad Talib Shahid, Director of Herat’s Public Health Directorate, his deputy Dr. Hanifi, and delegates from international agencies. The Deputy Director delivered a comprehensive briefing on the province’s public health service delivery.
In his address, the Minister issued key directives aimed at enhancing the quality of healthcare services and urged medical personnel to ensure not only professional conduct towards patients but also the provision of comprehensive and responsive care.
Furthermore, the Minister underscored the importance of transparency and emphasized the necessity of strategic collaboration between the health sector and both implementing bodies and international stakeholders, particularly during times of urgent need.
The meeting concluded with provincial health authorities and representatives of global health organizations reaffirming their commitment to the sector and pledging to accord full and deliberate attention to the recommendations discussed.
