Mawlawi Noor Jalal Jalali Visits Sar-e-Pol Hospital, Reviews Healthcare Services

During his visit to Sar-e-Pol Province, the Minister of Public Health of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, Mawlawi Noor Jalal Jalali, visited the provincial hospital.

It was attended by the Governor of Sar-e-Pol, Mullah Ahmad Shah Din Dost, the provincial commander in chief, and the deputy director of intelligence office. The Minister inspected the hospital’s main departments and assessed healthcare services, staff attendance, medicine availability, and medical equipment.

In addition, the Minister of Public Health, in his address to healthcare staff, stressed the importance of providing quality services, treating patients well, and upholding professional and ethical standards. He also suggested that existing challenges be identified and addressed promptly.

The Governor of Sar-e-Pol stressed the improvement of healthcare services and assured continued cooperation with the Ministry of Public Health to address challenges and enhance service quality.

During the meeting, hospital officials shared their proposals regarding shortages of certain medicines, the need for essential equipment, and capacity building of healthcare staff. Ministry of Public Health officials assured them of their cooperation.
