A comprehensive four-day training program has been initiated for 52 healthcare professionals in Herat province, targeting the control and prevention of non-communicable diseases.

 

In a collaborative effort between the Directorate of Non-Communicable Disease Control at the Ministry of Public Health and the World Health Organization, a specialized training course spanning four days has been orchestrated to bolster the capacity of 52 healthcare practitioners in Herat province. The curriculum encompasses a spectrum of topics including prevention, treatment, and management strategies for non-communicable diseases.

 

Dr. Mohammad Sami Karimi, overseeing non-communicable disease control at the Ministry of Public Health, heralds this training initiative as a significant stride towards mitigating the impact of non-communicable diseases across the nation
