Farah Public Health Directorate is delivered Medical Equipment to Strengthen the Mass Immunization Programme

The Ministry of Public Health delivered a significant package of medical equipment to the Farah Provincial Public Health Directorate to ensure vaccine safety, standardize their administration, and facilitate transportation to remote areas. The package included the following equipment:

1. 31 refrigerators for vaccine storage

2. 10 cold boxes designed for transporting large quantities of vaccines

3. 10 complete kits for the installation and maintenance of solar refrigerators

4. 64 carriers for transporting small quantities of vaccines

5. 52 spare parts for refrigerator repair

All of this equipment was handed over to the Department of the Mass Immunization of the Public Health Directorate.

Farah Public Health Director Mawlawi Sheikh Mir Saddam expressed gratitude to the Ministry of Public Health, stating, “This assistance will have a significant impact on the implementation of the National Immunization Program, especially in delivering vaccines to children and women in remote areas with limited access to health services.” He added that the equipment will play a vital role in improving vaccine safety, enhancing service quality, and increasing public trust.
