A ceremony was held to mark the resumption of construction work on the new 30-bed hospital in Darzab District of Jawzjan Province
The ceremony was attended by Mawlawi Abdullah Sarhadi, Governor of Jawzjan Province; Qari Sayed Zabihullah Hussaini, Director of Public Health; the district governor of Darzab; religious scholars; and local elders.
The Director of Public Health of Jawzjan Province expressed appreciation for the full support of the Ministry of Public Health and provincial leadership, noting that the 30-bed hospital will significantly improve access to quality healthcare for residents of Darzab District, its villages, and neighboring areas.
He further stated that the project, worth 54 million Afghanis, is being financed through the Ministry of Public Health’s development budget and is scheduled for completion within 18 months.
