An awareness program on drug prevention was held at Habibia High School in Kabul, reaching more than 5,500 students
The program was organized by the drug treatment and awareness officials of the Ibn-e-Sina 1000-bed Hospital under the Ministry of Public Health. It focused on awareness, youth’s role in building a healthy future, addiction prevention, its causes, the role of families and friends, ways to address social risks, and the negative impacts of addiction on society.
School officials and teachers also welcomed the holding of such programs and described them as effective in preventing drug use.
