Afghanistan–Bangladesh Health Cooperation Strengthened Through High-Level Meeting at Square Hospital

During an official visit to Bangladesh, a delegation from Afghanistan’s Food and Drug Authority under the Ministry of Public Health of the IEA met with officials of Square Hospital.

The meeting aimed to strengthen healthcare cooperation, exchange professional experience, and explore joint collaboration in the health sector. It was attended by Hafiz Dr. Naeemullah Ayoubi, Director General of Pharmaceutical and Health Products Regulation of the Afghanistan Food and Drug Authority, his delegation, and Mr. Wais Khan, Chargé d’Affaires of the Embassy of Afghanistan in Bangladesh.

During the meeting, both sides discussed improving regulatory systems, strengthening the capacity of Afghan health workers, drawing on the successful practices of advanced hospitals, and expanding technical cooperation between the two countries.

At the end of the meeting, the delegation of the Food and Drug Authority expressed appreciation to the officials of Square Hospital for their cooperation and warm welcome, and emphasized the continuation of constructive collaboration in the future.
