Dr Dalil Shares MoPH Work plan, Priorities with International Health Partners
Dr Suraya Dalil, Deputy to Policy& Planning and Acting Minister of Public Health met at her office the representatives of UN and international donating agencies supporting Afghanistan this afternoon.

This meeting was arranged not only to share Ministry of Public Health work plan, but also the top priorities with international health supporting agencies who attended the very meeting including World Bank(WB), United States Agency for International Development (USAID), European Union(EU), Japan International Cooperation Agency(JICA), WHO, UNICEF and UNFPA.

While sharing the MoPH work plan for the near future and priorities designed to improve hospital based health services, to lower mortalities among children and mothers and to improve the whole Afghanistan health system, Dr Suraya Dalil was on the lookout for their opinions in this regard.

Respectively, the supporting representatives as well as the UN agencies expressed their opinions and ensured the Acting Minister of Public Health of continuation of long term commitment to further empower Ministry of Public Health of Afghanistan.Moreovre; they give particular emphasis on unraveling the existing problems and challenges encountered by Afghanistan Public Health sector. It deserves notice that such meeting series will be kept up in the future.
