In year 61 Hijri the Karbala event occurred and till now Muslims are celebrating this event in many ways. As the time passes the celebrations are getting closer to the aspirations and goals of Imam Hussain (A). He also said that Karbala event should not only be seen from historic and emotional lenses and should not be celebrated at all with weeping and ritual chest-beating. This landmark event has very deeper and more meaningful dimensions. Every year this event brings about changes in individual and social life of people.
He added that Imam Hussain ( A) and his friends have devoted their blood for a very sacred goal which is defending their religion and rescuing Muslims from betrayal and scarified their lives. Today the blood donation from followers of Imam is a very beautiful and correct move. With Ritual chest-beating we cant get the satisfaction of Immam Hussain (A) and his friends. Referring to the cruel action of Afghanistan enemies that still are killing our children he emphasized on the need for blood for injured afghans in hospitals.In this inauguration Dr. Said M. Amin Fatimi referring to Karbala tragic event said that presence of our Shiite and Sunnite brothers in the blood donation event for needy people is a symbol of unity and cooperation in mourning of Hussaini Hashura.
Fatimie added that mourner of Hussaini Hashura and the followers of Immam Hussain (A) have donated their blood in the memory of martyrdom of Immam (A). Fatimie requested from private and public health centers to provide the blood free of charge. In this program Dr. Fatimie has announced that MoPH in the memory of Immam Hussain will name a branch of Central Blood Bank Immam Hussains Blood Bank. In this program Hujatul Islam Haji Mohammad Shafiq Mohaqiq, Minister of Mines Mr. Ibrahim Hadil, Mr. Zahidi a representative of Shiite brothers and Mr Hatif the representative of Sunnite brothers, Mr Hassan representative of blood donation of Imama Hussain (A) commission representative were present in this program and presented their speeches.
